What the CDFU stands for

AIMS and OBJECTS

1. To make Union Officials and Officers accountable to the membership at local and national level by improving the Union's democratic process.
2. To ensure that the Union gives positive leadership to members in campaigns to protect and improve pay, employment and conditions of service, and in the defence of a system of free, state comprehensive education.
3. To work towards creating a leadership in the NUT which is committed to these objectives.
4. To provide information and support to CDFU members to help them carry out their own roles as members of a democratic and fighting union.
